Ranking and Qualification System

1. Tournament Overview

Tast & Golf is evolving towards a more competitive and experiential format, where quality of play is combined with a distinctive gastronomic offering linked to Hostal Olga.

2. Objective

To establish an objective, transparent and balanced access system that ensures fairness among participants, an appropriate competitive level and the continuity of the event.

3. Number of Places

Total: 72 players, with an optimised capacity to ensure a smooth and high-quality experience.

• TAST & GOLF RANKING / 35 places → Tast & Golf Ranking (49%)
• SPONSOR INVITATIONS / 17 places → Sponsor invitations (23%)
• WILD CARDS / 20 places → Wild Cards (28%)

4. Ranking System

Access to the tournament is based on an overall evaluation index that combines different player variables:

ITG = (RE × 0,40) + (HC × 0,30) + (PC × 0,30)

RE – Previous Edition Result (40%)
TOP 5 / 100 · TOP 10 / 90 · Participation / 60

HC – Handicap Level (30%)
<10 / 100 · 11–25 / 80 · 26–36 / 60

PC – Participation and Engagement (30%)
Player involvement / 30–40 · Experience / 10–40 · Interaction with the event / 10–20

6. Access System

Players will be ranked according to their total score (ITG):

• TOP 35 → direct access
• Remaining players → waiting list in score order

7. Sponsor Invitations

Invitations will be requested by sponsors and allocated by the organisation according to strategic positioning and relationship-value criteria.

8. Wild Cards (Organisation)

Wild Cards provide access to new players through a system defined by the organisation:

• Distinctive profiles that add value to the tournament ecosystem
• Distinctive players
• Tournament ambassadors

Tast & Golf combines sporting competition, a social setting and a distinctive gastronomic experience linked to Hostal Spa Olga, creating a unique format that brings together golf, networking and gastronomy.
